西藏S5線（拉薩至澤當(dāng)快速路）項(xiàng)目由中交二公局采用EPC模式承建，其中圭嘎拉隧道設(shè)計(jì)為分離式雙洞隧道，左洞全長(zhǎng)12878米；右洞全長(zhǎng)12945米，平均海拔約4300米，是目前世界最長(zhǎng)的超高海拔公路隧道，且存在煤層瓦斯、突泥涌水等復(fù)雜地質(zhì)。
　　The project of Tibet Line S5 (Lhasa-Tsedang Expressway) was constructed by CCCC Second Highway Engineering Co., Ltd., in which the Guigala Tunnel was designed as a separate double-hole tunnel with a total length of 12,878m. The length of the right tunnel is 12,945m, with an average altitude of about 4,300m. It is the longest highway tunnel with super high altitude in the world at present, besides, it has complicated geology with coalbed meth ane and water and mud gushing.
